Lisa Irish told me today I could blog from my phone. WHAT!?!? I CAN!?!? Why didn't anyone tell me this sooner?? ;). If I had realized that I may have been posting more often than every 2 yrs or so. So I am going to play around with this and try to figure it all out. Wish me luck!! ;)

Happy Birthday To MOMMY!

I turned 29 on monday (aug 31) and this is Addysyn reading the instruction manual for my present. Does she look confused? Daniel came to wake me up from my nap to tell me someone was at the door for me. Went to the door and no one was there so I leaned out to look and there was a box. Opened it and there was a CAMERA!!!! No, wait, not JUST a camera!! A FANCY camera! :) I have been wanting a good camera for a long time. Everytime I see someone with their nifty camera that takes super great pics (TORRIE!!) I think "someday". Well, that someday was monday! Yay me!! I got a Canon Rebel xs. I don't know entirely what that means but I know it takes super nice pictures. I am having lots of fun playing with it and looking online to try to learn all the tricks and tips of taking fabulous photos! Any advice would be much appreciated! Maybe now that I have this new toy I will update my blog more. :P It's worth a try right? Anyway, 29 has started out allll right! Samantha

I know I know!

Ok, I have said it before, I will say it again, I know I am lousy at updating this thing. So, here we go, update of the quarter. :) All is well with all of us. Daniel is working hard as always. I am trying to keep up with Lance and Addysyn and all their Dr visits and illnesses lately! We have had lots of colds and coughs and tonsilitis and ear infections this winter. Mostly Lance but Addysyn has had her fair share too. Lance just got his 4th set of tubes put in his ears this week because he still has a lot of ear problems. Surgery went great and he didn't even cry this time when he woke up! I was so proud of him for being so brave! He also knocked out his left front tooth last week when he fell pushing a neighbor kid on his bike and planted his face in the street! The other front tooth is loose and the dentist thinks it will probably have to come out too but it seems to be getting less loose so we shall see. His face healed up great and FAST though so that's good (he looked pretty bad when it first happened! Kaitlyn also just had surgery a couple weeks ago on her foot again! She is doing great though and recovering fast! Hopefully her foot will cooperate this time around! She is doing great in school and is such a fun girl to have around! Kayla is doing good and growing up too fast. She is 16 now and spends a lot of time talking on the phone so we don't hear from her a lot but realize this is normal 16 year old girl stuff! :) Addysyn is doing wonderful! Her colic (yes, she screamed her head of, I mean SCREAMED her head off, for the first 2 months of her life) has gotten better. She is now quite the sweet happy little baby girl. She is so much fun! She has just started laughing recently and she thinks Daddy is the funniest person in the world! I will be trying to make her laugh and she will laugh but then Daddy does the SAME thing I'm doing and she CRACKS UP! It is so cute! I will try to post a video (not quite sure how to do that but I'll try to figure it out). Oh, Kaitlyn will be 14 in april, lance will be 4 in may, and Addysyn will be 4 months in about a week (forgot to tell you all their ages!). :) Anyway, I think that is all for now. I will post new pics too for everyone to see!

The Scott Family welcomes Baby Addysyn May!

Baby Addysyn has finally made her debut! :) She was born on December 2nd at 2:34 pm at 7lbs6oz and 21 inches long. She is such a sweet little thing. She sleeps nonstop, she even prefers it to eating! I will write more later but wanted to give everyone the update and let you all see our sweet little girl! Love, Samantha

Well we have only 4 weeks to go (as of tomorrow)!! Hopefully Addysyn May will make her grand entrance at least a few days early though! I am more than ready to have this little girl! Things are going well around the Scott household. Daniel is working hard as usual. Lance has been growing like a weed lately and he is more than ready for his baby sister to be born too (I think mostly because he doesn't like all the stuff mommy can't do pregnant and is tired of me leaving him to go to doctor's appointments). :) We have no plans for Thanksgiving except sitting around the house waiting for my MOM TO COME!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO! She will be moving here Thanksgiving day and then my Dad will move once their house sells! We are all very excited to have Nana around! Other than that, not a lot going on around here, just waiting for the baby to get here! :) Samantha

The Baby KICKED ME!

Hi Everyone,
I know I stink at keeping up with this thing! I still don't know how to do a whole lot on it so that is my excuse! So, Lance is 3 now which has been fun so far! I was a little worried because right before he turned three he was being rotten but he has been ok lately. And, I am now 16 weeks pregnant! I started feeling the baby move last week! I LOVE that! That is the greatest thing about being pregnant! Now, I feel the baby move at least a few times a day, still just little thumps but it's still great. Apple juice helps! :) All that sugar gets the baby movin. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow and they will schedule my ultrasound appointment. My doctor does them between 21 and 24 weeks so of course I am going to push for the DAY I TURN 21 WEEKS! I just can't wait to find out what I'm having (although I am convinced it's a girl!) So is Daniel, and Lance. We will see. I am having a hard time with names so send me any cute names for boys or girls that you like so I will have some help! Thanks! Talk to you all soon! Sammi

Ok, I think I get it . . .

Ok, so thanks to Camille and Torrie I think I get how to do this now. (We will see). So, I am finally updating this since it has been since NOVEMBER! As everyone already knows we are expecting a baby on December 8th (I am expecting it a little sooner though). Pretty much everyone is hoping for a girl. I am okay either way but would really love to have a baby girl. Lance will be 3 in just a couple weeks. Kayla is 15 and Kaitlyn just turned 13! We will be moving in june but staying in our same Ward boundaries so we are excited about that. I guess that is pretty much all for now. I have mother's day shopping to do! Talk to you all soon!
